Solitude: scenes from a pataphysic dance

Solitude: scenes from a pataphysic* dance

Pataphysics (French: pataphysique) refer to  a literary trope ideated by Alfred Jarry. The concept had been expressed by Jarry in a mock-scientific manner in the fictional book Exploits and Opinions of Dr. Faustroll, Pataphysician.  In short, Pataphysics is a fictional scientific discipline, vaguely related to Physics and Metaphysics. The motto of the “Collège de ‘Pataphysique” (founded in 1948) is a Latin aphorism, created by mathematician  Jakob Bernoulli (1654-1705):  Eadem mutata resurgo (“Changed, but still the same, I arise”).
